egregiously wrong and a total waste of time. I wish I could just talk directly to aetna, because wasting an hour to be told incorrect information is an hour of my life I won't get back.

Cobbled together tech company that is adding another layer of costs to healthcare with no perceptible benefit. Expect your monthly premiums to go up by $200 and a siloed company (cobbled together by a tech billionaire) which went public -- look at all the complaints on TrustPilot...

As a provider it is impossible to get paid or to get a person on the phone - having spent days! It is a fraud company that offers themselves as a health care company when they only shuffle words around. I feel for the people who think they are buying a Cigna insurance, but instead has an insurance that does not pay the provider. Trying to get any information for providers through the internet is also impossible. Abusing our time to spend chasing a rightfully earned claim, and abusing our efforts to help our clients. No one deserves to be abused like you abuse providers - me included. Shame on you.

Accolade is another tool for employees to attempt to reduce healthcare costs dresses up like a “concierge” service. They use a tight gauntlet of Prior Auth requirements to throttle access and delay care. I’ve now had two different MRI’s cancelled because their prior auth department, which is run by mostly unlicensed (non-clinical) staff. My first report indicates urgent follow up was needed for a cyst found on my spine. The follow up MRI also cancelled due to a code missing on the physician referral form - wouldn’t a concierge service find the code (it was low back pain) - nope; they cancelled the MRI without even looking at the medical urgency. I hope I don’t have cancer. It’s hard to imagine this tech company providing a value add to the customer- this is another tech company rues- they have fancy marketing- but their real goal is to make money by delaying and denying healthcare.

Update to June 17, 2023, review - this is an update date to a previous review. I answered another questionnaire about Accolade. Again, I informed them that I had not received any assistance with my request. I received another call from their management team on July 17, 2023 to smooth my ruffled feathers. Promising everything would be taken care of this time. LOL. Now it is July 25, 2023 and no contact from Accolade and no changes completed just I as told them it would happen. Such a waste of money for my company. By working thru back doors, I was again able to complete my request and received the answer I needed without Accolade's help. There truly no need for Accolade's services.

I am writing this because I am getting very agitated with Accolade. I have contacted Accolade with questions about billing for be charged as Out of Network for Tricore reference labs (which I always use the same one) back on October 17, 2022. I never received an answer.
Now on June 5, 2023, I have asked to find out if our insurance covers Gel injections for the arthritis in my knees. I have been instructed that I must collect all the information for them to be able to assist, such as CPT and DX codes. Which is their jobs.
I completed a Accolade survey and was contacted about my concerns.
Was told that I would get assigned a new member support person, since the one I have never answered any of my requests. Which then makes me start from the beginning again, again and again. They say they call attempt to contact me by phone, strange I have no calls listed on my phone at all.
None of what I discuss about my survey was handled. I never receive a call or email from the new member support person either.
July 12, 2023 - I still have no answer about the gel shots. I know my doctor resent the per-approval request since I contacted them to provide one, which Accolade should have done.
I have reached out to my company for assistance (awaiting a response).
I reach out to the insurance company, which instructed me that I must use Accolade for info.
At this point I just want company's to understand how frustrating this type of service can be to navigate. It might seem beneficial but it is not.

if I can give these folks -100 stars, i would. they absolutely do not give a damn about customers, they lie about their commitments and benefits. the customer service is absolutely useless, promising you the moon and the stars and nothing comes at the end. They charge a lot of money for nothing. Just another money sucking company.
