In 2016 and 2017, Carbonite acquired EVault and Double-Take Software, expanding Carbonite's data protection portfolio and providing enterprise-grade solutions. In 2019, Carbonite acquired Webroot, which created comprehensive approach to endpoint protection through cloud-based cybersecurity, paired with cloud-based backup and recovery.
