In May 2024, I was contacted by Cygnus/InfoGain Corporation, the technical advisor for the contract, for a potential role with Costco Corporation. Thrilled to apply my security and consumer fraud protection background, I eagerly engaged in the interview process. Following multiple rounds of discussions, I was elated to receive an offer with an annual compensation package of six figures, which I formally accepted on May 23, 2024.

Over the next week, I exchanged the necessary paperwork with InfoGain Corporation. With a confirmed start date of June 3, 2024, I enthusiastically tendered my resignation from my previous company, where I was earning a competitive salary over six figures. Believing I was moving to a role that perfectly matched my expertise, I was fully prepared for this change in my career.

However, things took an unexpected turn when, on June 3, 2024, after multiple confirmations and follow-ups, I received news that the position was suddenly on hold. Over the following days, I relentlessly pursued clarification, only to be informed on June 14, 2024, that the position had been canceled without prior notice.

My career trajectory and reputation have been adversely affected by this experience. Consequently, I am seeking the minimum amount due, reflecting the contractual two-week notice period and two-week termination. Considering the gravity of the situation and the financial hardship I am facing, additional compensation is warranted.

After four futile weeks of attempting to reach a resolution and collect unpaid wages, the emotional, financial, and professional toll this ordeal has taken on me cannot be overstated.

Should this matter fail to be resolved promptly and satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to exercise my legal rights and pursue all available avenues to secure the compensation I am rightfully owed.
