I have been a clickhost member for several years. Occaisonally, they would contact me to say they have found malware on my sites and have asked if I wanted to pay them to remove it. This appears to be a scam. I am the only person with access to my websites, and I have complicated passwords I know the breach is not on my end. I have never found malware on the sites, and when I have asked for them to show me proof with screen shots or to identify specific files, they have never been able to. This has happened enough times through the years, that it is just far too suspicious. I have advised them if malware is present, its because they were hacked on their own server side, and has nothing to do with me. Their refusal to ever show me proof of malware on my sites, points to an obvious scam to me. Each time they have done it, I have just cancelled my hosting. I have now cancelled my last hosting account with them and am so happy I have done so. Additionally, for those that have multiple sites, they have no tools for logging in with a master account, and then manage the individual hosting accounts (like every other domain and hosting provider has). For each site you wish to host, you have to have a separate user account with Clickhost. Sure the site is reliable once it is up and running, but there are better hosts out there.

Today was the best service I've received from Clickhost via chat. I've connected via chat before during 1 to 2am within the last few weeks and the person must have been fairly new as it took about an hour to get FTP information. I was a bit reluctant to use chat again, but I did today and it refreshed my impression of Clickhost. I will likely write an update as a verified user at a later date.

Clickhost support team was really helpful today via the chat support! We were able to find the issue and finally reset my outgoing server, which was not working!! we also changed my account password and set up my iPad! I am very pleased with their helpful advice and guidance! It just took a while (almost 2 hours) but I guess that's not really them, that's just going through the whole process of finding the issue and then resolving it. I can now go back to helping people with autism and all their friends!!
