Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Daato impresses users with a clean, intuitive interface that scales well across large teams. The reviewer, three years into an enterprise rollout with 200+ users, praises how easily colleagues navigate modules for CSRD reporting and EU Taxonomy alignment—few clicks, minimal training needed, and no sense of confusion even as the product has grown. The onboarding experience across departments was smoother than expected, which matters significantly at scale.
The main limitation is the carbon footprint module's filtering and export capabilities. While functional, they don't quite match what power users need; the reviewer often exports to spreadsheet to slice emissions data the way internal stakeholders require. This isn't a breaking flaw—support responds well to feedback—but it's the notable gap in an otherwise solid product. For teams prioritising ease of use and broad adoption, Daato delivers; teams with complex, custom reporting workflows may hit a ceiling.

“Three years into an enterprise rollout and the UI is…”
Three years into an enterprise rollout and the UI is still the thing I talk about most when colleagues ask. Daato's interface is genuinely clean. Not just aesthetically, but functionally. Finding the right module for CSRD reporting or EU Taxonomy alignment takes maybe a few clicks, and the layout hasn't made me feel lost once, even as they've added features over time. Getting 200-plus users onboarded across different departments was smoother than I'd expected, largely because the navigation is intuitive enough that training sessions stayed short. That counts for a lot at scale.
The one real frustration is the filtering and export options inside the carbon footprint module. They're decent, but when I need to slice emissions data in a specific way for internal stakeholders, I end up doing extra work in a spreadsheet that I'd prefer to handle inside the platform. It's not a dealbreaker, and support has been responsive when I've raised it, but it's the gap that stands out after everything else holds up so well.
