Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Endicia has sharply declined since being acquired by Stamps.com, according to this user, dropping from a reliable service to one they actively avoid.
The reviewer reports multiple serious problems across billing, technology, and support. They claim billing errors required two separate bank disputes, describe recurring glitches in core features like scan forms, and cite frustration with customer service—specifically templated responses that redirect users to phone support, which they found difficult to reach and unhelpful. After years of recommending the service despite its monthly cost, they've switched to a competitor offering lower postage and insurance rates with no subscription fee.
This single review provides one user's perspective and should be considered alongside other feedback, but the specific complaints about billing accuracy and technical reliability are serious enough to warrant direct questions if you're evaluating Endicia for your business.

“Like others, I have touted their service for years; even…”
Like others, I have touted their service for years; even though there was a monthly subscription, I found it was worth it, as all my dealings were seamless (I said WERE/used to be). Ever since the Stamps.com takeover, they have gone from a 4/5 star rating to ZERO. They CHEAT on your billing with "funny math" (I had to dispute TWICE with my bank), have serious tech issues with some features that are supposed to make transactions easier (like the scan forms always glitching) AND their customer service STINKS - templated responses to your online messaging, only to advise that YOU CALL THEM, which results in LONG hold times and multiple attempts to get someone who knows what they're doing. I have since switched to a FREE service (check out all the competitors, there are MORE now than before) whose postage and insurance rates are LOWER. So why stick with these goons?!?
