Headwall is a vertically-integrated company that builds extremely precise hyperspectral imaging sensors for OEMs, as well as complete imaging systems for end-users across four markets: remote sensing, medical/biotech, advanced machine vision, and defense/government. Our customers count on our devices to ensure food safety and quality, detect infrastructure wear and corrosion, keep our military safe, and identify and monitor disease progression. The Company also produces its own holographic diffraction gratings and spectral modules for OEMs who wish to integrate these into their own imaging products. These precise spectral components differentiate Headwall from other imaging sensor companies in the form of high spectral and spatial resolution, high signal-to-noise, low stray light, a wide field of view, and small-form-factor instruments. Headwall operates facilities near Boston USA and near Belgium (Headwall BVBA). The Company is privately run, and has about 50 employees. It is ISO-9001:2015-certified.
