In 1996 the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) required that by 2002 every entity involved in healthcare performed the most common transactions electronically. The founder of HIPAAsuite Martin Scholl, an engineer with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare software industry, saw an opportunity to simplify the complexity of the EDI files for the benefit of all healthcare related organizations. HIPAAsuite was created in 2001 to provide HIPAA EDI solutions for organizations within the healthcare industry. It all started with the HIPAA Claim Printer, the predecessor to the HIPAA Claim Master module. The company continued to develop new products to keep businesses up to date. We quickly responded and developed solutions to meet all HIPAA EDI mandated transactions.
