The UI actually makes sense. Six months as a solo consultant, I don't have an IT desk to call when something breaks or a colleague to ask where the filter panel is hiding. iCORDS just... works the way you'd expect it to. The data layers load cleanly, the navigation is intuitive without feeling dumbed-down, and I've never had to dig through a help doc just to pull a basin-level petroleum systems summary.
For deepwater exploration work done by one person, the interface keeps the friction low enough that I stay in the analysis, not the software. That matters more than I expected it to.
