Kocowa

KOCOWA, based in Los Angeles, is an over-the-top (OTT) streaming service that focuses on Korean entertainment content. Established in 2016 as a joint venture among South Koreas major broadcasters—KBS, MBC, SBS—and SK Telecom, KOCOWA aims to distribute Korean content globally. The service is available in 73 countries, including North America, Central and South America, Europe, and Oceania. KOCOWA offers a variety of content, including K-dramas, K-variety shows, K-reality programs, and K-pop events, with subtitles in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The platform features both a premium subscription service, KOCOWA+, and a linear channel, KOCOWA Classic, available on The Roku Channel Live TV. KOCOWA also acts as an IP holder and content broker, providing integration services for partners like Viki and collaborating with major entertainment companies, including HYBE for content related to artists like BTS and SEVENTEEN.
