MyEtherWallet

MyEtherWallet (MEW) is a free, open-source, client-side interface that allows users to interact with the Ethereum blockchain. It was launched in 2015 by Taylor Monahan and Kosala Hemachandra as a way to provide users with a user-friendly interface for managing their Ethereum wallets. MEW allows users to create new wallets, send and receive Ether (ETH) and other Ethereum-based tokens, and interact with smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. It does not store users' private keys, meaning that users have full control over their funds and are responsible for keeping their keys safe. One of the key features of MEW is its support for hardware wallets such as Ledger and Trezor, which provide an extra layer of security by storing users' private keys offline. MEW also offers a range of other security features such as two-factor authentication and the ability to set custom gas limits and gas prices for transactions.
