Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
TrackingTime is a straightforward time tracker that most users find easy to adopt and reliable for project-based work. Users consistently praise its intuitive interface, quick onboarding, and ability to track time across devices. The Asana integration stands out as a major strength, letting users log time with a single click. Reminders that alert users to forgotten timers are also appreciated. Edits and time adjustments are simple, which helps teams reconcile actual hours worked against estimates.
The main friction points are less critical but worth noting. The app requires an internet connection to function—offline tracking isn't available—which limits use in disconnected environments. The mobile app is notably less capable than the desktop version. One user found it awkward to edit task dates after the fact, particularly for ad-hoc work not captured in Asana. A few users expressed a wish for daily reminders to prompt time entry itself, not just timer alerts. These limitations are minor enough that they don't deter most users from rating the product highly, but they may matter depending on your workflow.

“"My Time is valuable!" What do you like best? What…”
"My Time is valuable!" What do you like best? What I like best is that I can adjust the time to correctly reflect a shorter amount of time. I have forgotten to sign out and a day later I'm gasping at 36 hrs. Hello, that's not right! I have to keep track of my hours because our national organization gives us awards for the most volunteer hours. What do you dislike? I have not found anything to dislike as of yet. I didn't know I had to pay for the service. Also, I wish there was an an daily auto alarm asking, "Did you log in your volunteer hours?" "Did you enter how many hours you were________?" What that would have been. LOVE REMINDERS.

“"Useful Time Tracker, But Only While Online" What do you…”
"Useful Time Tracker, But Only While Online" What do you like best? TrackingTime makes it easy to add new tasks and time them. You can also add or subtract easily. On that note, the reminders the app sends have come in handy more than a few times, alerting me that I was still tracking a task I had since stopped working on (oops). Finally, I like that it syncs across different devices so I can pick up a task I started on my desktop over on my laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike? The biggest downside to TrackingTime is that it only functions while online. I understand that a connection would be required to sync, but I wish there was an option to track offline and have it sync after the fact. Instead, you're out of luck if you're trying to work offline.

“What do you like best? The Asana integration is the…”
What do you like best? The Asana integration is the real kicker for me and it works amazingly well. I don't think anyone actually ENJOYS tracking their time and this integration makes it literally as easy as clicking a button. If you have your Asana set up in any sort of logical way (aka you have projects) all you have to do is hit the time tracking button and it's all automatically logged by the project. If you work at an agency, or service a book of clients in anyway and are time tracking, this tool is the easiest most effective tool to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike? It's probably a small complaint but editing the date of tasks has been difficult. Not everything I do fits into Asana perfectly (for example, cleaning out my inbox) and if I am inputting it the next day, I've had a more difficult time than I expected changing the date.
