Running a freelance UI practice means Figma is my entire workspace. I love that I can collaborate with clients without making them install software. The library system lets me reuse work across client engagements without cross-contaminating files. Variables have made client theming work dramatically faster. The pricing model is the part I find frustrating - paying per editor seat when I have varying client engagements means I sometimes carry seats I'm not actively using. Plugins like Iconify and Unsplash are daily essentials. Community files are a goldmine for inspiration and starter kits. Customer support is largely self-serve documentation, which is fine since the community fills gaps. Would absolutely recommend to any freelance UI designer working in 2026.
