Solid value, full stop. Managing BambooHR across a dozen client accounts for over three years now, and the per-employee pricing model has held up remarkably well for smaller clients. Startups with lean headcounts get a capable platform without paying for seats they don't need. That's genuinely rare.
The one gripe: mid-tier clients who want payroll bundled in feel the jump in cost quite sharply. It's not unreasonable, but it does require a conversation. Still, for what they deliver at that price point, I keep recommending it to clients without hesitation.
