Pricing transparency is where a lot of BI platforms quietly lose you, so I went into Domo's contract negotiations with my guard up. Genuinely surprised by how straightforward it was. The per-user model made sense for our department's headcount, and the way consumption tiers are laid out meant I could build a realistic forecast before signing anything. No hidden add-ons that suddenly appear after onboarding. That alone was worth a lot to me.
I'm only about two months in, so I'm still getting familiar with the full feature set, but the dashboards and card-building tools have already replaced two separate tools my team was paying for. The mobile experience is better than I expected for a cloud BI platform. Customer support has been responsive every time I've reached out, which matters when you're still learning your way around. If you're in a mid-market department and value for money is your primary concern when evaluating BI software, this one deserves a serious look.
