Switching from our old receipt-capture tool was the best admin decision I made in years. The previous platform was clunky, OCR accuracy was hit or miss, and getting data into our accounting software felt like a punishment. Dext cleaned all of that up. The automatic supplier rules alone save me a noticeable chunk of time every single week, and bank matching that actually works without constant manual correction is not something I took for granted after where I came from.
Three-plus years in, I still find features I hadn't fully explored. The connections to suppliers mean my small team spends almost no time on manual data entry now, which is the whole point. Customer support has always been responsive when I've needed them, though I'll admit I've rarely had to reach out because things just work. If you're sitting on a clunky legacy tool and talking yourself out of switching, stop. The migration is worth it.
