Two years managing Freshmarketer accounts for multiple clients, and the integrations picture is genuinely the part that causes me the most headaches. Native connections to the big CRMs work well enough, but anything outside that shortlist means leaning on Zapier, which adds cost and an extra failure point. For clients running leaner stacks, that's a real friction.
The email builder and heatmaps are solid for the price, and their support team has generally been quick to respond when things break mid-campaign. I don't think I'd steer a client away from it, but I wouldn't call it a first recommendation either. Depends entirely on what tools they're already running.
