The control panel surprised me. After two years of managing our department's cloud environment through it, I still find myself noticing how little friction there is day to day. Spinning up a new server, adjusting configurations, reviewing usage metrics, it all flows in a way that doesn't require me to dig through documentation every time. That's rarer than you'd think in this space. The layout is logical, the labeling is clear, and I've been able to onboard two new team members without sitting next to them for hours.
Rackspace has genuinely put thought into making a technically complex product feel approachable. My one real complaint is that some of the advanced networking settings are buried a few clicks deeper than they should be, which gets mildly annoying during high-priority incidents. Their support team has always come through when I needed a faster path. Overall, the UI alone has saved my sanity on more than a few late evenings. This is a product that respects your time.
