E-commerce manager at a mid-market homewares brand running on Shopify Plus. The platform handles our 80,000-SKU catalogue, multi-location inventory across three warehouses, and B2B wholesale alongside DTC without strain. Shopify Functions has unlocked customisation we previously needed agency builds for. Markets has simplified our European and Australian launches considerably. Hydrogen and Oxygen for our headless front-end has performed reliably though the developer experience took learning. Where I push back: app pricing across our 30+ installed apps stacks up alarmingly fast. Some apps that used to be one-time costs have moved to monthly SaaS pricing without obvious value-add. Plus account management has been mixed depending on the rep cycle. Despite gripes, Shopify Plus is the right platform for our scale and ambition.
