  Three-plus years as a solo operator and the admin side of ExchangeBase is genuinely one of the things I brag about. Setting up my own permissions structure was intuitive in a way I didn't expect from a platform this specialized. I control exactly what counterparties can see when I share a listing, which matters when you're managing pipe inventory or OCTG on behalf of clients who don't want their pricing exposed. The configuration panel isn't buried under six menus. It's right where you'd look for it, and the role-based visibility options have gotten noticeably better since I first signed on.

  My one real gripe: notification preferences inside the admin settings are clunky. There are too many overlapping toggle options and it took me longer than it should have to figure out which ones actually fire versus which ones are essentially decorative. Support was helpful when I asked, but that whole section needs a cleanup pass. Still, for a solo operator handling asset transactions in a niche market, the control I get over my account setup makes the platform worth keeping.
