Honestly, the billing model was the first thing I scrutinized before committing to NordPass for my agency. We manage credentials on behalf of a dozen or so clients, and the per-user pricing structure is the most transparent I've seen in this category. No surprise invoice items, no seat tiers that suddenly jump in cost once you cross a threshold. About a year in, I can confirm what I suspected: the number on the pricing page is the number I actually pay. That matters enormously when you're billing clients for software costs and need to forecast accurately.
The value for money at the business tier is genuinely strong. For what it costs, you get XChaCha20 encryption (newer and faster than AES-256 in practice), a solid shared vault system, and an admin panel that lets me grant and revoke client-specific access without drama. My four-person operations team runs credential handoffs through shared folders now instead of emailing passwords around. That alone covers the subscription cost. The zero-knowledge architecture also helps when I'm pitching security-conscious clients on why we use it.
A couple of minor rough edges: the browser extension occasionally needs a manual refresh after a browser update, and the activity log could go a little deeper for audit purposes. But neither of those is a dealbreaker, and their customer support has responded quickly the two times I've contacted them. For any agency managing multiple client environments, NordPass hits a rare combination: sensible pricing, genuine security credentials, and a product that doesn't fight you. That's not easy to find.
