We had our Alpha Five driven website on another hosting service for many years. They sold their hosting and we were force transitioned to another hosting We'll call that Hosting B. Five weeks later, still not running right. Hosting B gave us incorrect IP address info. They don't know about A5, so they don't know that the private IP matters. They told us the server was "exactly the same". It wasn't - hard drive not solid state. Website throwing can't connect errors. Even after they upgraded hardware, still getting errors. They said "must be the operating system" - without dealing with the fact that THEY were providing windows! So if it's the OS, why should I fix that? Anyway - the moral of this story is, if you have an Alpha Five website, go to hosting that knows Alpha Five. Period. When I reached out to Zebra, they were very responsive. My monthly cost is actually lower. The website is now running normally. They gave me a fixed price to simply handle the transition.
