Online hiring and job websites are dysfunctional, there are re-direct pop-ups constantly and every click is usually a different company, many jobs I clicked on don't appear. Basically, you collect names, email addresses and phone numbers that are sold on lists. It explains the countless confusing emails and unsolicited phone calls and texts. The texts seem to be the only things easy to stop however. The hiring people merely collect lists and go from there, there is no personal communication and the people hiring merely pick from a list or AI does it. I have never actually spoken to a human so that is very discouraging however it's the new world. I miss the old world and not the disingenuous new one. Completely against 100% online sites with, if you're lucky, a human to communicate with. This speaks volumes about the people hiring also as they could learn a lot more from a potential employee than a piece of paper. Nothing will change however. "Make lists, sell lists, invade privacy,, collect data", all normalized

Many application sites are broken. I upload or download my CV Resume and then they want me to type it all out. This site is dysfunctional and I miss the old days where you talked to the person who would hire you. Zip Recruiter is not user friendly and merely a middle man interfering in the hiring process. Not a fan and it makes it harder for a very qualified person like me. 0 stars
