Stumbled upon Zenefits via searching for a better PTO tracking system (we're in CA and subject to a new law for part-time EEs) than Excel spreadsheets. Found that it does WAY more than just track PTO and produce reports; I love that it integrates with so many other business management systems we use (like payroll and medical) so that we don't have to enter the same exact data into multiple systems. Customer service and satisfaction is a top goal at Zenefits, and it shows through in every way they conduct business and listen to feedback about the software. Helps keep us compliant with state regulations and by being our benefits broker, we can ask questions and get answers and advice from licensed individuals. I can't think of HR management without Zenefits. Zenefits is very user friendly. Great for small to midsize businesses that are looking to seamlessly manage benefits, onboarding, and personnel changes all in one place. They have dedicated account managers and a whole team of customer service representatives so the support is great! They are also constantly enriching their product offering with new Business Intelligence tools and management capabilities. My only recommendation would be to allow for more flexibility to customize different features and to incorporate a date field for making employee changes so we can keep track of when an employee was promoted or received a raise and their job progression throughout their time at the company. We've had a few communication issues between broker and carrier, but the Zenefits team was great at proactively solving them. Great for organization of information, personnel, payroll changes, and onboarding.
