After moving into a new job, during my initiation, I found myself introduced to a program called Remote Desktop Manager from Devolutions. Our internal IT had already implemented RDM as the primary Remote Access tool for our many customers, and I was surprised at how straight-forward it was to use. In my previous employment, the most common access tools were the common screen sharing apps or remote desktop that been installed on one computer and we had to manually type in each customers details if we were on a different machine, if we had set it up. Now coming to RDM is like a breath of fresh air. Everything’s centralised, logs of who and when has accessed our clients, as well as a built-in password generator (I admit I am terrible at making passwords). I would recommend it to all Customer Support teams that would like to make their lives easier.
