The reporting side of Freshsales caught me off guard. About six weeks in, I started pulling pipeline reports and realized how much visibility I'd been missing with the spreadsheet I limped along on before. The built-in dashboards give me a clean snapshot of where every deal sits, and the AI-driven deal scoring actually shows up in the analytics in a way that feels useful rather than decorative. Running solo, I don't need enterprise complexity. I need clarity. This delivers it.
My one gripe is that custom report building has a learning curve that isn't well documented. I spent a solid afternoon trying to set up a revenue forecast view the way I wanted it, and the help articles weren't much help. Their support team eventually pointed me in the right direction, but it took longer than it should have. Still, for the price and for a one-person operation, the analytics depth here is genuinely impressive for something this approachable.
