Permissions management is what I want to talk about, because after three years of wrangling this for a growing team, it's genuinely the reason I keep recommending Zoho Analytics internally. When we were eight people, everything was simple. Then we hit thirty-something, with contractors, department heads, and external stakeholders all needing different views of the same data. The workspace and folder-level permission controls handled that layering without me having to rebuild everything from scratch. Row-level security was a real find. Setting it up the first time took some reading, but once I understood the logic, rolling it out to new users became almost mechanical.
My one consistent gripe: the admin dashboard for managing users across multiple workspaces feels clunky. If someone needs access updated across four workspaces, I'm doing that four separate times. There's no bulk-edit path that I've found, and their support team, while friendly, confirmed it's just not there yet. That friction adds up when onboarding a new wave of hires. Still, the core permission architecture is solid enough that I work around it without too much pain.
