What is 4D Data Centres?
4D Data Centres is a UK-based colocation data centre provider with facilities in Gatwick, Surrey and Kent. As well as colocation, they provide ultra-fast connectivity, business focused cloud and cyber security solutions to organisations around the world. 4D Surrey 4D's Surrey site has been operational since January 2008 with various power and cooling upgrades over time to bring the facility up to date. 4D have never had a power failure since opening the site. The location is well positioned for clients in London and the South East. It is adjacent to the M25/A3 junction and in the heart of Surrey between Woking and Weybridge. 4D provide a network backhaul service to Telecity Meridian Gate, now known as Digital Realty’s Sovereign North site in Docklands. Other carriers available at the facility include Zayo, CenturyLink, Virgin, Cable & Wireless/Vodafone, and BT. 4D are also G-Cloud approved (UK Government virtual services provider) and on the NHS HSCN Healthcare network. Standard power draw for a rack is 32 Amps, facilitated by cold aisle containment. And bespoke rack provisions can be made upon request. 4D Gatwick 4D’s Gatwick data centre offers 400 cabinet footprints at an average of 5kW each across a single data hall of nearly 10,000 sq ft. This is 4D’s second data centre in the M25 market and this new site sits on 4D’s dark fibre ring linking both their original Byfleet data centre and London Docklands. 4D offer a full range of data centre services including colocation, connectivity, cyber security and cloud services. This makes the data centre a great option for locally based business and smaller enterprises seeking a level of customer support large providers simply can’t match. 24/7 on-site security and support is available. High density options available up to 45kW per cabinet. 4D Gatwick can now support a 3MW gross load and deliver 2MW to customers, or 5kW per cabinet on average but very high density is also possible, up to 45kW with supplementary cooling. A recent upgrade to adiabatic cooling has helped improve energy efficiency.

Generated using AI from real user reviews
4D Data Centres earns strong marks from users for reliable service and responsive staff. Customers consistently praise the team for being friendly and willing to go out of their way to solve problems. The facility itself appeals to small and medium businesses, with reviewers noting ample floor space and what one calls the most reliable option in its area. The tone across reviews is uniformly positive, though feedback is limited to four accounts and light on technical specifics—one user even mentions free coffee during late-night visits as a perk. For buyers weighing colocation options, the consensus suggests solid reliability and good customer support, though deeper details on pricing, uptime guarantees, or service-level agreements don't emerge from these reviews.
