Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
eTruckBiz offers cleaner design and solid compliance tools, but its workflow inefficiencies may frustrate solo operators paying monthly fees.
The software excels at IFTA tracking and compliance paperwork management, which users find more straightforward than alternatives. The interface is praised for being visually cleaner than previous systems. However, the core complaint centres on navigation friction: generating invoices and load confirmations requires jumping between multiple sections, creating slowdowns for independent operators juggling many tasks while on the road. A simpler competitor apparently handled this in two clicks.
Customer support quality is inconsistent. One interaction yielded genuine help with custom reporting; others took days to respond or felt like templated answers from an FAQ. For a solo trucking operation, this unpredictable support combined with the navigation overhead raises questions about whether the value justifies the subscription cost. The reviewer remains undecided on renewal despite acknowledging that compliance management has improved overall.

“Switched from my previous trucking software about a year ago…”
Switched from my previous trucking software about a year ago after a friend said eTruckBiz was simpler for a solo guy like me. Simpler in some ways, sure. The layout is cleaner and the IFTA tracking is more straightforward than what I left behind. But the old platform let me generate invoices and load confirmations from the same screen in about two clicks. Here, I'm jumping between sections every time, and that friction adds up fast when you're doing everything yourself and trying to stay on the road.
Customer service has been hit or miss. One rep was genuinely helpful walking me through the custom reporting options. The other times I've reached out, responses took days or felt like copy-pasted FAQ replies. I don't regret trying it, and the compliance paperwork side is honestly easier to manage now. But for the price, I expected the workflow to feel more thought-out for a one-truck operation. Still deciding whether to renew.
