Gumlet was established in 2019 in Singapore by Aditya Patadia and Divyesh Patel, who previously contributed to the success of Turing Analytics, a pioneering AI startup in the visual search field. Notably, Aditya is the creator of a widely-used open-source image resizing library in PHP, which he introduced in 2012.
