Globaltap was founded by technology enthusiasts in the early 2000s. Based in the DC metro area, we were looking for a solid reliable datacenter service provider to use for our own needs, and to recommend to friends and family. After encountering many challenges in finding consistent, reliable, and easy-to-use infrastructure and connectivity providers, we decided to start the kind of company we wanted to do the business with. Over the course of many years, equipment upgrades, and the addition of Raleigh-Durham, Globaltap has become a premier network and server infrastructure provider. To keep our services both high quality and affordable, our focus is on the Ashburn data center market, with Raleigh-Durham as our primary backup site. Primarily through referrals and word of mouth, we are proud to have built a solid base of happy customers who stay with us for many years.
