Upshot

Upshot Systems CIC is a social enterprise dedicated to making impact measurement more accessible. Upshot is an online system used by 1000+ sport & non-sport organisations worldwide. The system helps funders and deliverers across the third sector better manage their data, improve performance, track progress, and report against outcomes - all with the aim of evaluating their impact through effective Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL). Upshot was created and launched in 2012 by the Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity, based on their own needs and understanding of the sector, to enable consistent and insightful reporting for funders and deliverers alike. Since March 2021 Upshot Systems CIC is an independent social enterprise supporting more than 1000 not-for-profit organisations (including sport and non- sports charities, local authorities, universities, community groups and international NGOs) across the third sector. They use Upshot to manage, monitor and evidence their programmes.
